Upon Arrival Found 1/2” Cpvc Fitting Cracked And Leaking Into Shower And Into Wall Leaking Into Basement. Removed Section Of Drywall In Order To Expose Piping. Installed Access Panel And Used Necessary 1/2” Pp Copper Fittings And Copper In Order To Re Attach Onto External Shower Valve Properly.
When Turning Water Off In Basement Before Conducting Repairs Found 40 Gal Electric Bradford White Water Heater Installed In 2014 Leaking Severely From T P Valve, Also Found Water Coming Out Of Electrical Panel On Top Of Water Heater As Well As Large Amounts Of Water Leaking Into Or Out Of Lower Element. Informed Client Of Findings And That New Water Heater Is Suggested. Installed New 40 Gal State Electric Water Heater. Re Attached To Existing 3/4” Copper Piping . Tested Operation Of Both Repair At Upstairs Shower Valve And Installation Of Water Heater By Cycling Water On Through Shallow Well Pump And Observing No Issues As Well As Proper Operations Water Heater At This Time. Informed Client Of All Findings.
